The Reverend's Wrap-up
UUG,
For all of those who attended the Unity TGIF and Workshop held last week in Vancouver, and for those who want to know how it all went down, check out the link below to Tom Higgins blog post:
http://blogs.unity3d.com/2009/08/01/vancouver-unity-tgif-skills/
Oh behalf of dimeRocker and the sponsors, I want to personally thank-you all for making both events a complete success. We look forward to future events and encourage you all to do the same in your town for to build your local UUG Chapter.
If anyone wants to know more about how to become involved, or ideas and strategies for putting together a UUG event, drop me a line. In a couple weeks I will hopefully be able to announce two more events we will be holding, pending sponsorship and financing partners.
Throwing a party and workshop is a fantastic way to meet and connect with other Unity devs in your area, but don't let the scope of it stop you. That is why we launched the UUG, to allow you to post a simple post to ask if there are any local Unity Users who want to meet up for a coffee.
Begin as you mean to go on.
Cheers,
J.Joly
